batóʎa probably originates from the Venetian batolia ‘talkativeness’ and has undergone a change in meaning (Ralli 2017).
E.g. mɲa batóʎa murá mazóxkan ap-óksu.
mɲa batóʎa morá mazéftikan apό-ékso.
‘A group of children gathered outside (of the house)’.
