sáðʝu comes from the Medieval Greek ísa ‘exactly’ and the Lesbian local adverb éðʝu ‘here’ (Anagnostou 1903˙ Ralli 2017˙ Ralli 2019).
E.g. sáðʝu t-áfsa. pú píʝi tóra? ísa-eðó to áfisa. pú píʝe tóra? ‘I left it here. Where is it now?’
