éʝtitʝus comes from the prefix eʝ(e)- (< Medieval Greek éðe ‘there’) and the pronoun tétʝοs ‘such us’ (Kretschmer 1905˙ Giannoulellis 1989˙ Papanis & Papanis 2004).
