éʝusus comes from the prefix eʝe- (< Medieval Greek éðe ‘there’) and the pronoun ósos ‘as much as’ (Kretschmer 1905˙ Giannoulellis 1989˙ Papanis & Papanis 2004).

E.g. éʝusu psumí éxumi, éʝusu θa fas.
eʝe-óso psomí éxume, éʝe-óso θa fas
‘As much bread we have, as much you will eat’.
