éðʝits has been derived from the prefix eð(e)- (< Medieval Greek éðe ‘there’) and the adverb étsi ‘like that’ (Kretschmer 1905˙ Giannoulellis 1989˙ Papanis & Papanis 2004˙ Ralli 2017).
