(i)tsínunas has been derived analogically to the accusative form ecínon of the pronoun ecínos ‘that one’ (with tsitacism, deletion of the secondary unstressed /i/ and inflection in -as, Ralli 2017).

E.g. tsínunas én íni mi ta sustá t.
ecínonas ðen íne me ta sostá tu.
‘That man is insane’.
