Regressive voicing assimilation in noun-possessive pronoun clusters: the noun final /s/ becomes /z/ before the voiced /m/ (Papadopoulos 1926˙ Gafos & Ralli 2002).

E.g. mi fónaz-i patéraz-i-m ts-iɣó é-dun ákɣa.
me fónaze-o patéras-mu ce-eɣó ðén-ton ákuɣa.
‘My father was calling me but I couldn’t hear him’.
